In the month of October, the Canadian Government invited 500 Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residence! The Express Entry Pool is one of the mechanisms the Government of Canada uses to manage the applications of applicants who want to apply for permanent residence. The cut-off score using the Comprehensive Ranking System for the October 16 draw was 357 points.

Federal Skilled Trades programs
If you have the required experience in any of the following professions:
* Cook
* Chef
* Butcher
* Baker
* Electrician
* Carpenter
* AC Technician
* Welder
* Plumber
* Carpenter

Along with meeting other requirements you may be able to apply for permanent residence.

Federal Express Entry system
To be eligible for Express Entry applicants are scored on factors that include:
* Age
* Education
* Language Skills (English or French)
* Work Experience

The Government of Canada frequently selects top-ranked candidates and asks them to submit an application for permanent residence.
