Visitor Visa or Study Permit to Canada Refused?
Every year, thousands of people go to Canada to sight see or to visit family and friends. For others, it is an exciting time to pursue their studies in Canada. However not all individuals who apply for visitor visa or study permit are approved. This article will explore five reasons why a Canadian visitor visa or study permit application may be denied:
* Incomplete application: This may sound simple, however you have to fill out the application forms completely. Missing information or a missing signature may result in a refusal.
* Unclear purpose: Whether studying or visiting, the visa officer assessing your application will want to know that the purpose of your visit or course of study makes sense.
* Lack of funds: When you apply for your visa or permit, you will need to show that you have sufficient funds to support your stay. If you do not have sufficient funds, this may result in a refusal.
* Risk of over-staying: The visa officer needs to be convinced that you won’t over-stay your time in Canada.
* Providing misleading or false information: It is important to provide accurate and truthful information on your application forms. If the visa officer discovers that you provided misleading or false information, you may be barred from entering Canada for a specific period of time.
On any immigration application, there is no guarantee of success, however if you take note of these reasons you may improve your chances of receiving an approval.
